HOW TO MAINTAIN PLUGINS?

Plugin maintenance forms part of the overall website maintenance. Plugins are a crucial part in
the functioning of your website, therefore they need to be constantly monitored and maintained
to avoid any security breach or potential malicious attacks.

We recommend updating plugins every week, to perform this, follow the steps below:

Navigate to the Plugins tab within the WP dashboard.

• All the plugins which require updates will be highlighted in yellow at the bottom of the plugin details.

Usually whenever there are plugins which require update, these will show in red as a counter number next to the Plugins tabs. Click on the “update now” hyperlink.

Once the plugin has been updated, the status bar changes to green. The red number next to plugins tab should disappear completely.

• There is an “Enable autoupdate” button next to each plugin. This will automatically update plugins as and when they get updated.

Note: We recommend enabling the “Auto updates” for each plugin especially the critical plugins which integrates payment gateways and ensures overall site security.
